++A range of 'By Order of Justice Dept.' posters could be good. Things like 'No Boinging' 'No Littering' 'No smoking' 'No excessive alcohol consumption' 'No mass murder' 'no kleggs' etc. etc. etc. And Dredd meting out punishments in suitably humerous scenes on each one.++

Why is there so much UFO activity in Jockland? Would you traipse across the galaxy to see the Bonnybridge Triangle?

The Haar normally burns of in time to make the busses home nice and sweaty...

Help! / Re: What's Fargo's first name........

Stop it now, his first name was Sue, he was the son of Johnny Cash. Hence the coupon that looked like a sklelped erse.

A tranlation of that that sentence is avaiable in Babblefish.

aaagh! that confused me,i was in Glasgow last weekend looking at Whistlers again and couldn't remember posting this thread! Then I realised it was a re-activated old yin.

I managed to get in the FP in Glasgow which is a million times better than the Edinbra one, but it was chocka with sprogs and rockers.

One pint in the Horseshoe just to check GRennies allegations, he was right, as I was there to hear the football results coming in, the wimmin were the worse...

It was an experience I really enjoyed, a real comic shop as I remember them! it all reminded me of the old Science Fiction Bookshop in Edinbra when it was populated by drunks, popstars and Alan Moore lookalikes, before fame, liver failures and FP intruded.

I wasn't sure about exactly how much clothing the nice chap behind the pile of comic was wearing, all the bits I could see wear bare and the adverts on the radio were starting to scaring me a bit so I did head out fir a pint after my purchases, I eyed up the 'Uisge Beatha' but with it being the first day of the season and me being a big ugly Edinburgher I chose to stroll back to the Horseshoe Bar, discretion being the better part of Valour.
i got the address off the sticker on the back of an GN/BD I bought, (old stock?) along with issues 1 and 2 of 'Losers' which, has been pointed out, is a great reworking of the A-team with fine artwork.

i will be heading back through on 1 Nov hopefully, for some stuff in the Burrell so, Trouty, Hex, anyone!  if yer up for a pint I am, after a token viewing of some of Whstlers pastels of course.

We hate a stereotype eh?

I think old stoney face should be sent off on a world Tour of Duty that would be good start for an epic
