The reprint of Black Widow in the new Extreme got me wondering where John Hinkleton is these days.
I loved his version of Dredd & Nemesis. Totally grotesque stuff, something different.Love to see him back in the Prog or Meg.
John's work on Heavy Metal Dredd would make a great Extreme edition live up to it's name.
Has there ever been a sequel to Black Widow?
If not how about John Wagner reteaming for one?

If anyone has ?4000+ spare you could be the proud owner of this Judge Dredd vehicle from the movie.

Anyone know if the 2nd and third Dredd and ABC Warriors novels by Black Flame are in the shops yet?

I have a strange home page locked onto my PC when I go on-line. It will only change temporarily when I use internet options to change. The bugger always comes back. Any ideas?

February 13: David Cronenberg to chart HISTORY OF VIOLENCE

According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Cronenberg has signed on to direct New Line?s A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, based on the first in the Paradox Graphic Mystery line of graphic novels published by Paradox Press and DC Comics. Josh Olson, who wrote and directed the killer-fly film INFESTED, scripted the adaptation, which explores what happens to an ordinary family?s life after the father commits an apparently justified vigilante killing. The graphic novel was created by John (JUDGE DREDD) Wagner and Vince Locke (and was followed up by the ROAD TO PERDITION book adapted into the Tom Hanks movie). JC Spink and Chris Bender?s Benderspink company, whose THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT is in theaters now, will produce; this marks the first studio project for Cronenberg since he helmed Fox?s NAKED LUNCH back in 1991.

We originally reported here that Wes Craven was planning to produce a remake of his classic THE HILLS HAVE EYES, and today Variety has confirmed that the project is indeed a go at Dimension. Patrick Lussier, Craven?s longtime editor and director of DRACULA 2000, was initially talked up as director, but now the reins have been passed to French filmmaker Alexandre Aja, whose ?70s gore homage HAUTE TENSION has won lotsa buzz on the festival circuit and will be released Stateside later this year by Lions Gate. Aja will script the new HILLS with his TENSION writing partner Gregory Levasseur, and Craven will produce with longtime collaborator Marianne Maddalena and the original HILLS? Peter Locke. Presumably this means things are still copacetic between Dimension and Craven, who?s been going through some haute tension of his own working on the company?s much-troubled CURSED.

On opening the new Dredd/Aliens graphic novel the gorgeous smell of freshly printed pages emerged.
So who on the board smells their freshly minted prog?

The new movie Van Helsing has it's trailer now on-line and pretty cool it looks too.
