You can read what I have to say about it over at my Bookshelf blog: just clicky here.  And if you like what I wrote, tell yer friends and increase my traffic, would you?  (Clicking that ad on the sidebar leaves me a teeny tip, you know...)

Afraid there's no credit in the book to tell us.

Just wondering, as I'm under the impresion that Alan Davis doesn't do a lot of colouring? Lately, I've only been exposed to him via his excellent covers for Marvel Comics. Always disappointing to open them and find he isn't the interior artist, but that's the science of pulling readers in with great covers.

I had no idea that it was Alan Davis who drew Harry 20 - back then, I never used to pay attention to the names in the credit box. I've very fond memories of this story though - it was a real weekly cliffhanger for me, though I did find it an odd coincidence that everybody had been given sentences that fit their names! God bless GFD and his super-literal naming policy!

But only available in the US? WTF that's all about?

Robo-K33F mentioned that there's a UK edition penciled in for next year, but they wanted to try and take advantage of Alan Davis's name here by getting all his 2000 AD work out for American fans to try.

Or, you can think of it as I do, Tharg's munificent gesture to us poor American squaxx who've been on the short end of the thrillpower stick for decades.

It is a bit odd the Simon and Schuster books are mentioned in the 2000AD book section:

You can import a copy:

www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9781906735913/Harry-20
www.amazon.co.uk/Harry-20-Gerry-Finlay-Day/dp/1906735913/

Best price looks to be the Book Depository at the moment (especially when you factor in the free P+P).

The problem I see with staggered launches is that those who really want this will pick it up from the US, which might mean the eventual UK sales are a little disappointing.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Do we have a list anywhere tracking these books, their dates, ISBNs and what issues they collect?
