Cover:
Frazer Irving cover of zombies, they look like theyre coming out of the page.  All thats needed is a speech bubblewith "uuuuuuurrrrrrrgggggh" or something

Dredd/Aliens:
still hotting up.  we get aglimpse that Giantis amongst the supporting cast and the way Flints drawn him he looks a lot older.  Lets hope its not just linning him up for a quick death.  Good plot, great art, keep it coming.

Caballistics Inc:
Im always praising Rennies work and today is no exception, the art seems to compliment the story and the it just gets darker and darker. I really liked the ending too, although it wasnt much of a surprise

Dante:
Hes just great isnt he??  Burns art and a good fun story.

SinDex:
No whingeing this week, but the art was pretty poor and well the storyline did nothing.

Slaine:
OMG!!!!  We guessed this and as such it lost its impact somewhat.  But the story seem to be going somewhere, maybe Mr Mills  could getsomeone else to write the even numbered episodes???

Prog / Prog1316 - The latest prog
05 November, 2002, 06:54:16 PM
Right as no one has managed to review it yet, Ill start.

Cover -  I like this, although maybe an Aaaaaaaargh from Prager would be nice.  I like robinson, anyone know when he's next doing a series.

Dredd - Is this a prequal or What???  Did it read to anyone else like Wagner is building up to something.  If not he should and get Rico involved!!!  Glad to see Prager is not dead.  All in all this has been a blast.

Red Seas - Suddenly it all gets a bit darker, but still maintains an element of humour.  I like this and the art.  Kudos to the script and  art droid.

Asylum - This has over the last 2 episodes suddenly increased in pace to almost lightening speed.  Its been slightly disjointed to me, but thats my only real complaint.  It looks like its coming to an end, Id like to see more boo cook art and some more fom Mr williams too.

Past Imperfect - I like Mr Rennie's stories and he, as usual doesnt disapoint.  Its a good solid read and the twist is fun too.

SinDex - they have been relatively good over the last couple of weeks, ie not as bad.  This was though terrible, I like SB Davis Art but SinDex, please (insert expletive)off.

All in all a good prog, spolied for me by SinDex......

I had a brief read through before I came to work.  So this is first impression.

If you didnt read he heading this is a

Fun cover.  Well you cant go wrong with Werewolves can you?

Dredd -  Didnt I say you couldnt go wrong with werewolves and yes I was correct.  Werewolf/prager running amok, trying to get back to the undercity.  Dredd chasing after him.  Looks like were going to get another death after we have been reintroduced to Prager.  Personally I hope not.

Asylum - The arts nice but it doesnt quite click for me.  Ill try rereading this later.

Red Seas - Not only do we have zombies and black magic we know have a good witch.  This is like reading an old stor from a bygone age that never really existed.  I really like this and Im not quite sure why?

Past Imperfect - Another Si Spurrier gem?  Nearly.  A neat little tale, nice B&W art.  I liked it, but arent these just a twisted tale future shock terror tale :-)

Sinister Dexter - Once again, thsi flatters to decieve.  The art is good, but I just totally hate the main characters, christ (the oirish one) is there a reedemable feature in there.  If so why cant I see it.

Off Topic / Top Ten Albums/Songs/Artists
05 August, 2002, 10:13:27 PM
After seeing a couple of threads descending into a music love fest :-) and Arthurs rant that we are all sad goth boys, Ive decided the only way to do this is to give a top ten artists/ songs /albums, you get the idea.

Also it may be a stunning insight into our personalities or not.  Anyways heres my top ten albums in no particular order:
1.  Whats goin on - marvin gaye ( a soul classic)
2.  Sister - Sonic Youth (Grunge before someone invented grunge)
3.  Pixies - Doolittle (WOW)
4.  Leftism - Leftfield (just blew me away)
5.  BloodSugarSexMagic - Red Hot Chilli Peppers (the best percusssion in rock)
6.  Pet Sounds - the Beach Boys (brother harmonies sound so good)
7.  Revolver - the Beatles (harrison proving is as good as either of the other two)
8.  Screamadelica - Primal Scream (proving guitar bands can make good dance music)
9.  Dummy - Portishead (Depressingly beautiful)
10. Dubnobasswithmyheadman - Underworld (even if just for cowgirl)

There are others worthy of a mention:
Roots Manuva, Public Enemy, Nirvana, the Jam, the Police, the strokes, etc etc etc.

Id probably fill up the board with it so thatll do for now.
