The easy way is to copy and paste your link into the box marked 'optional link URL', at the bottom of the box for a new message box, just there (d'you see it now?) then come up with some almost witty title...

But if you want people to think you know what you're doing, and put the link in the body of your text, you do the following:

< a href="http://www.2000adonline.com/?zone=fan&page=messagethread&choice=21946&Replies=16" target="_blank">dodgy pun wich serves as the text for your link< /a>

(Only you miss out the space before the a in the first set of brackets, and the /a at the end)
