Two new updates! The first is the rest of Si Fraser's beautiful covers and the other is a mind-boggling step by step of how Neil Roberts created last month's Meg cover!

Kerrin

Fantastic stuff Pete! It's great to see so many artists being so generous with their work as well, cheers fellas.

This week's superb cover is up with great commentary by Mark Harrison!

ACE stuff, as always.

So good that Tharg's droids are being so cooperative and helpful, it must be nice to have their work seen in it's original form and be so obviously appreciated.

The recent run of covers, like the strips, have all been top notch.

After a hectic couple of weeks, I've been able to put Henry's cover from last week up, as well as some other Flinty goodness. Click on my signature to have a peek!

Nice one Pete. Unspoilt covers are one of my top ranking niche interests. ie One that I never get round to organising my personal effort.

Just brilliant. I am in absolute awe of the Flint droid. His work really is a product of 2000AD and I mean that in the best way possible. Long may he continue to work for 2000AD. Anyone know how he works? Does he draw on paper and then manipulate with computer or does he do the inks as well on computer?

While I'm waiting on a couple of covers, I've done a Boo Cook Halloween Special ("Boo!" Geddit!?! Sigh, I'll get me coat...)

I've had loads of fun doing it, I really love Boo's work and can't wait for his Anderson strip next year. The preview in Prog 1650 looked great!

It's at http://2000adcovers.blogspot.com/. Enjoy!

"I'm gay for Boos work."
A statement i've not come across in all my 48 years.
Well done Pete, another great chapter.
Hard to pick a favourite from this Droids work, but its still mainly the Anderson cover.
And that's because she's the dead spit of an ex manager of mine. A right HagBag, a nightmare to work with and ex porn "model".
Still enduces a chuckle to see her in the Judge outfit
The perspective on that chairs all wrong

Pete i have put much better pictures of my two Boo Cook Dredd covers on the comicartfans site if you want to take them from there rather than the ones on the 2000ad artwork site that are not in frame !.....cheers ste

Hey Supes, exchanged a couple of emails with Henry some months back, specifically to ask about that. Apparently he hand draws stuff (whether this is all the time or not I don't know), inking over the pencils on A3 tracing paper.

Thanks for that mygrimmbrother. Now I think of it, I've looked up Henry Flint's artwork online and it did look as if it was inked on tracing paper. Strange as I had forgotten that, yet when I did my Deadlock drawing for the Flint comp I sketched that on paper then inked it on tracing paper, something I haven't tried for years.
