I'm enjoying the VC's strip probably more than SD, Dredd and Rogue combined at the moment. OK mebbe not that much, but it seems to be a real winner.
Any chance of a reprint of the original series (which I haven't read) as a GN or in the Meg perhaps (after 'Bad Company' and 'Fiends of The Eastern Front')??

The first 2000 AD story I ever read was the Titan reprints of the VCs and I thought they were brilliant. I was a wee lad back then but my taste was fairly good in hind sight , Charleys War, Johny Red  and Doomlord were my favourites, and as an adult i still like all 3 so I'm fairly certain the VC's will have held up pretty solidly.
What happened to Gerry Finlay Day anyway? He may be uncool but Rogue and the VCs were seminal 2000 AD strips.

I'm enjoying it too, though it's odd that while Cam Kennedy still produces strips for 2000AD he wasn't first choice to draw the strip. Not that there's anything wrong with Henry Flint on the strip, he's very in the spirit of the original, tho it's always good to have some of the original team.

Yeah, let's see Cam Kennedy's art in 2000AD again, maybe with Chris Blythe doing the colours. What with Dredd, Rogue and the VC's all being Cam's fort? AND running at the moment there's never been a better time.
