Any ideas what happened to him?

My immediate reaction was 'eaten by zombies'.

Ormston ... Any ideas what happened to him?
Not really but about a year ago I noticed a bloke at work looking at some of Ormston's Northlanders on the net, so I started spraffing on about Dredd and whatnot. He had no idea what I was talking. He knew Dean as an artist for those role-playing trading card game things that I don't understand and had a collection of his original art for those.

So maybe he's made a fortune out of that like Greg Staples was talking about in the Meg last year.

Yeah, I remember Kev Walker telling me years ago that Wizards of the Coast paid as much for one A5 painting to use on a card as 2000AD paid for a page of full colour strip. That's not difficult maths for any artist to do, really ...

Cheers!

Seriously folks, that's such a tasty prospect that it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck.  What are we thinking (aside from the obvious prediction of a Sinfield/Maybe confrontation), might the Mayor make a civic visit to the new townships?  Wasn't the real Ambrose a mutie-lovin' philanthropist?   Tingles man, tingles.

Boy, was I surpised to find chosen cover picture for the new Slaine Demon-Killer graphic novel is from the famed poster prog which was printed right after that story, for the story Return of the High King

If only that can be blown up with out ruining the resolution.

I hope thats the finale choice, because I love this picture...

I modified version of this cover was my suggestion last time we were discussing this late last year.

Modified because Slough Feg skulking across the bottom of the page,  with Niamh & Kai walking off into the sunrise/light just above it. As these character/images would never be found in [bDemon-Killer[/b].

However, I still preferr this one.

Besides, it looks like they have faded out Niamh & Kai while the title Slaine itself has Slough Feg perfectly hidden.

Now I wonder if the Gods were listeining or if they even knew what I was talking about.

It's the same image on my desktop, but I couldn't find in any of my image folders, so I had to describe it competely.

With you on that, TS.  Much as I disliked some of these stories at the time, I'm really looking forward to seeing them collected under that cover.

As far as I'm aware, this is indeed the final cover for Sláine.

Mike Gloady

Cool.  And the title at the bottom, unusual but good.  Looking forward to this.
