Dredd: New Year Is Cancelled - Prog 146

Just wondering was there ever any follow-up story about little Albert Sherman, the genius kid who wanted to be King of Meg City 1, from the Dredd story 'New Year Is Cancelled' in prog 146?

The last we see of Albert, he's being inducted into the Academy of Law to begin training and Dredd is predicting that some day Albert's brains will be an asset to the force.

With all the disasters that have happened to the city and the destruction of teh academy of law Sherman probably got killed or is using his brains to stock check the departments stock of tight boots.
