I take that back coz I have just remembered that he was in a Garth Ennis strip about 10 years ago (some chines burd battered Dredd in it called Wu Yang or something like that).

Who was in the strip 20 years ago? Sov Judges (Izaacs - we never found out what happened to him), Dredds 'baby' (the Star born thing) but these were incidental characters. I can't remeber a regular one from that time.

Yeah, Max appeared in the daughter of Stan Lee tale, had solo stories in the annuals as late as 1992 and appeared in 'Wanted:Dredd or Alive' earlier this year.
