Some fine work.

Almost makes me regret skipping Mick at the bar at the 40th bash.

I'll be picking this up next year for a 5 year old Beano fanatic.
And maybe a flick through myself too!

Any word on the creative teams?
Can we assume the ever excellent Lew Stringer will be involved?

He's definitely in the halloween spooktacular (as am I, I think)

Well two thumbs up there so.

ISRC Henry did state that it wasn't scifi but a bit of a departure for him. Which is why the Treasury of British Comics immediately leapt to my mind.

Flint has been working on this for about a year, and given that he's normally quite prolific, the presumed page count wouldn't match something like Monster Fun.

A different 'Treasury of British Comics' title seems likely now - if Sci-Fi is indeed ruled out.

It was good by IDW Dredd standards

Faint praise there my good sir.

I picked up issue 4 of Red Room this week - favorite issue so far.
A classic revenge story, told in a 3 part EC Comics pastiche.

Piskor has hooked me on this depraved sleaze - counting the weeks until the series returns in December.

My pals at Big Bang Comics also nonchalantly threw the FCBD issue of Red Room into my pull list too.
A nice companion piece to the 4 issues released thus far.

I'm not being funny, but what does Bisley do these days?

Most recently working on Brooklyn Gladiator for Heavy Metal.

I checked out after 2 issues, didn't grab me.

that one episode of the Gothic Empire where Joe is undercover in a poker game was just SO GOOD

Indelibly inked into my mind for the past 35 or so years.

Stevie's money is on this being for Monster Fun.

Kidding aside, a few pages of Flint style horror artwork in Monster Fun every couple of months would be a natural fit.

Those concentric circles put me in mind of both Button Man and Kano.

Maybe that's what was niggling the back of my head - Kano / The Krool. But it's not it, is it?

Mindless speculation - a G.I. 'Helm' broadcasting a signal?

Forget The Penguin.
Forget Bullseye.

Farrell's best villain turn was when he played a Dublin scumbag in Intermission, soaked in Colm Meaney's piss.
Born for the role.

Book of the Haul though, well Grendel Devil's odyssey 8 of course. A fascinating way to end Prime's quest and the reason it book of the haul - well the fact it ends so well and at the same time beckons in more to come with the next series of 3, 4 issues minis announced. And damn does it look like a fantastic premise to build into.

The finale was a bit of a let down for me.
Did I miss the comment / explanation that the 'Federation' emissaries appeared to be human?

Only new comic I read in the past few weeks was King Spawn 1, which left zero impression on me.

Seeing tumbleweeds on my ComicHub app at the moment.

The Hidden
It's pretty engaging, kinda humorous in places.

Haven't seen it in decades, but still remember yer man biting into an alka seltzer after his first hangover experience.

Good to hear it! I heard it through the grapevine that the boat had been completely destroyed! Wasn't sure how to get in touch with you so checked here :D I was going to organise a gofundme and a series of fundraising gigs and everything.

Johnny, sorry to break this to you - JBC actually passed last year after smoking a rollie full of nettles and horse manure while pissed.
His last request to be buried at sea couldn't be met due to the boat being in such poor nick.

Me and the lads put a few quid together to have him thrown off the Forty Foot in a bin liner.

The 'halo' visual effect around the blanked-out character's head seems like something that I should recognize, but it's not coming to me.

It can oly be... Skip Tracer!

KHANNNNNN!!!!

Flint remains my absolute favorite artist for the last two decades - looking forward to whatever this may be.
