Books & Comics / Hicklenton: 100 Months
23 April, 2010, 09:09:21 PM
I've a release date of 14th October for this, but no publisher listed? Pat Mills is listed on the credits, I don't know how much he wrote for this. Pat Mills' Vampire Knight volumes 3 & 4 from Panini are listed for a september release.

How long will it take for a reprint and recall then? Was the error in the Flesh collection ever fixed either?

Anyone else's copy of Slaine have mistakes? I'm missing the first page of the Cauldron of Blood game (the instruction page was printed twice) and the text on the inside back for the Slaine collections is actually for the Strontium Dogs collections.

I've seen a listing for a paperback edition of Leviathan in the first half of the year and an October date for Volgan Wars Volume 3 - dates could be off because my memories a bit rubbish.

Charlie's War book one, where they go over the top. Ginger's quote stands out for me: "If hell is worse than this I'd better start mending me ways!"
and the other bit where one of Charlie's unit gets caught in the barbed wire and is screaming "They Lied!" before being ripped to bits by a machine gun. Have I remembered that correctly?
On a Abenett related note, a Lords of Misrule collection is being released by Radical Comics in July (I think) and a Knights of Pendragon collection will be released by Panini later this year.

I've seen a listing of two collections of Pat Mills Requiem series for release in September '09 by Panini UK, apparently 112 pages each at £9.99 so I'm guessing that's the first four volumes in the series collected. Worth getting?

Comics wise I'm tearing in Deathblow: ...And Then You Live! by Brian Azzarello and Carlos D'Anda and Wasteland Volume Three: Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos. Book wise, I'm reading War PLC by Stephen Armstrong.

Some of those Tales From Beyond Science stories really freaked me out. The 13th Month one especially. I'm not afraid of spiders, but when they're erupting out of a persons mouth...
