Caught some of Papillion on BBC4 last night, wasn't expecting to like it but it was good. Apparently not the true story it was claimed to be at the time though.

Even people don't like the film like Finn though, right?

Meadowlark Lemon - pretty much the inspiration for the Harlem Heroes.

There is a good quote in that BBC article - "he said his destiny was to make people happy". Judging by people's feelings  on Lemmy & Philty Phil, their destinies must be the same.

Gozanti-class Imperial Assault Carrier

That thing is so beautiful, I so nearly caved when I saw it... But 77 yo-yos!  :o

The fact the TIE Fighters/Bombers/Interceptors/Advanced can attach to it make it worth it  But anytime a new wave is announced for X-Wing  is time to start saving. I'm waiting for the Ghost, Punishing One, Mishunter and Inquistor's TIE to turn up next month.

Space Hulk: Death Angel. Not Christmas presents, but some X-Wing stuff I was saving up for also turned up: Gozanti-class Imperial Assault Carrier, T-70 X-Wing and TIE/fo.

Evan Wright's Generation Kill. Fascinating read. I figure it can't have been an easy book to write. I felt quite bad for most people involved, and for the others worse.

Remembered alot of scenes from the tv series, especially the one where a girl is shot after her father didn't stop the car he was driving.

Brutal stuff. I really recommend it.

+1. The lieutenant of that unit wrote a book as well, One Bullet Away, so I'd curious to see he thought of it all.

Let me know how Dixit is. I've watched a few videos on it and while it seems like an intriguing concept I still don't understand how it works at all.

I played it once. If I remember right, everyone has a hand of cards, with unique abstract art. On your turn, you say a word or phrase* and everyone picks a card from their hand, puts it face down and all the cards are shuffled and revealed. Each player except the person whose turn it was try to guess what card you played. You get points for every person who picks your card, but if people pick the other players cards, those player score points instead.

*For example I said Schindlers List, as I had a card with a bright red coat.

I think you can detect a great deal of frantic cutting in this movie quite late on, presumably to speed things along or to tighten focus - the toy aisles are full of stuff that doesn't really appear, for example.

Apparently there was a plot leak on a jigsaw that appeared on amazon.jp a few months before the film's release and as far as I can tell, the plot leak has not appeared in TFA and may come up in Episodes 8 or 9?
