So, any ideas what the teaser image in the new Planet Replicas e-mail is?  I think it's Mechanismo's belly button, meaning even the loneliest cosplayer will be able to go on patrol with their plastic pal who's fun to be with.

Rocksteady are owned by Warner - they're going to be making games based on Warner properties (i.e. Batman) until the end of time.

So, you're saying we need Warner to buy Rebellion?

Any forum whose populace is genuinely worried about the use of such things I would want nothing to do with.

We don't really care what font you use.  Have you considered Wingdings?

Ah, apologies. Thanks for letting me know. I avoid that thread because I like to find out about strips as they appear. :)

No need for apologies, TT, just pointing it out in case anyone wants to read the discussions.

The Forthcoming Thrills thread has good info on upcoming trades.  There used to be a list keeping tabs on upcoming stories in the prog/meg but that largely dried up a couple of years ago.

Well, now we know why the Kingdom hardback is such a high price - it's signed.

Sounds good, doesn't it?

It's been discussed a few times in the Forthcoming Thrills thread over the last few months.

I liked the roaches.

I'm guessing they're in there to prefigure the reveal that Bagman is also a big metal cockroach.  And for the general gruesomeness, of course!

Having said that, the fact Rogue has to go back to resupply doesn't support the idea of Bagman having mobility to gather up bits.  That doesn't mean he's not mobile, though, just that it's not the reason why he's mobile.

I'd rather do something else that hasn't seen the light of day for a while.

Great - The Leopard from Lime Street and the Sweeny Toddler Case Files please!

Who's Wally?
The Contract
Alien Town's Burning
Old Pals' Act
No Man's Land
*SABs
*Bodies of Evidence
*Alien Wedding
*The Bazooka

*It's Deja Vu All Over Again
*Block Court
The Trial of Orlok
*Big Deal at Drekk City
*Who? Dares Wins
*Blackout

* = stories included in "The Art of Kenny Who?".... so it's not just the cover that's almost identical.

See that Dredd C64 loading screen? I could do WAAAAY better than that on a basic paint program on the frikkin Acorn Electron!!!  ::)

Lots of C64 users knew they could do better than that too.

2000AD characters were always a popular subject for something to draw; home micros obviously having a big appeal to the audience reading the prog at the time.  E.g. -

Judge Dredd: Click! - Click! - Click! - Click! - Click!
Johnny Alpha: Click!
Rogue Trooper: Click! - Click!
Slaine: Click!
Nemesis: Click! - Click!
Halo Jones: Click! - Click!
DR & Quinch: Click!

On the subject of the original Judge Dredd game (Melbourne House), I never got far but I really liked Neil Brennan's theme music for it.

Ordered!

It only charged me 50p postage to Australia, so I've dropped David a line.

There didn't seem to be much in that we haven't seen before.

And there's something seriously wrong with that helmet at 1" 16'.
