Yeah have to say that looks a heck of a lot better than that original test shot. Some pretty unfortunate mid-running facial gurning aside I'd say that looks promising.

That's great stuff right there. Shame the covered blog seems to have stalled?

I'm going to hold out until I can see it at Kapow in the... you can finish that line yourself!

I bet I buckle then.

Man I'm tempted by that Flesh cover I really am. Just don't know where it'd go... maybe I need to talk to my wife about what we keep in our cellar...

Isn't Dante starting in April?

According to the Diamond solicitations (via Previews via Grant) we'll have to wait until June for Dante. Of course these are open to change as they're done in advance etc etc.

I predict that next Prog will have either a Future Shock or a double-length opening segment for The Red Seas.

Yeah hopefully though we're heading to a great set of stories for me in April. According to Previews (via Grant Goggins) we can expect Red Seas, Sinister Dexter and Zombo in the Prog this April. The Nu-Golden Age continues.

This week everything is behind a wonderful cover that kinda sets the scene. Shakara does what is so difficult to do and ends perfectly. The last line is as you'd expect but its all wrapped up so successfully even if we're teased with the potential for more to come (though we told and know there isn't) I'd glad its ending here. Its giant, its bonkers, its just plain wonderful. It kinda reminds me of the best of Jack Kirby's writing imagination unbound and just chock full of thrill-power.

The rest of the prog is kinda in the shadow of this magnificence but on the whole is fine stuff. The only exception being Dandridge which while by no means terrible just isn't drawing me in the way it might. Its there, its fine but that's it. Dredd is a mighty fine piece of work that wraps up a fun little two parter. Flesh continues to entertain no end and I'm getting more and more into James McKay's art. The only thing I'd add is I'd like it to step off the gas soon. At the moment its this fantastic relentless dino gorefest. All good but if it continues like this we'll have no room to breathe, and more importantly nor will the characters. Its been a blistering start so I'll keep the faith.

and here it is in all it's glory. Obviously it's not been ironed or washed and that's why the circular template mark can be seen.

Arh and there was me thinking you'd been using it as a coaster for an over-sized cuppa
