If it were like the old Mego figures from the late 70's, but with better costumes...then yes I'd buy it. But I wouldn't pay more than $20

An article from Wizard the Comics Magazine, issue 129

"After finishing up the celebration of Judge Dredd's
25th birthday across the pond, Rebellion Entertainment
is looking to bring Britain's favorite strong arm of
the law stateside via an all-new American series."

Hey Tharg and the Droids any teasers for us.

"This is courtesy of Micheal Flynn from the 2k yahoo group"

Actually I, not Mr. Flynn, initially posted this at Yahoogroups, but thats not important. Being an American fan I don't think reprinting the stories from 2000AD or the Megazine would be a wise idea. As said before, its already been done. I think with minimal investment Rebellion could get the likes of Dark Horse, not Marvel and definitely not DC, to pick up the Dredd licsence(sp?). Maybe instead of doing an ongoing series, they could do several mini series, ala Aliens or Predator. The the Droids could do the art and writing chores in the UK, ship it to the States and have it printed up there. To Americanize the stories, naw. Keep them the way they are. If the mini series do well, then go with an ongoing series.

>howd u come across 2000ad over in the states ?

A few things led me to find it.
1) I came across the original mailing list with Wake, Miri Thomas, Si Fraser, and Logan.
2) Conversing with Si Fraser got me craving Thrill Power and the fan site reignited my love for Dredd and the Big Meg.
3) A comics shop opened up and I was able to get it through there.

I get it from my local comic shop, its a little cheaper than subscribing. I also gotten some back progs from Ebay, and some kindly gent from the UK sent me a couple Megazines and JD Classics.
As Cadet Crites at Class of '79 this would be my Wally Squad Training pic.

I'd say break them down into ten samll piles of 100 progs each. Box them up for the post and send them to the biggest 2000AD in the US. :)

General / Bringing it to Wizard

With the 10th anniversary of Wizard I think its a shame that they haven't given 2000AD more coverage. They did a "10 Years of Image" a couple months back. But even with my emailings they neglected "25 Years of 2000AD". So I'm putting together something in hope it'll put on the correct path and give Tharg and his droids they credit they deserve...that is here in the States. So maybe I can put a petition like thing together to help compel them in the right direction. So email with you name and location, if you know a fan who doesn't have internet connection...send me their info as well.

I kinda like to see some 2XL. I'm a big guy, so when a 100% cotton XL. So when they shrink they get sorta snug around the mid-section. I bet there are others that seem to notice this.

"'The Face of Justice' gets my vote. Dredd takes his helmet off and allows a dying blind girl to feel his face."

If she was blind, how could she see his face??
