Wow I want a GI trooper- I was hoping Warlord were going to make a Rogue Trooper range before they launched the Slaine ones. I've not splashed out on them.

My Dark Judges and Angel Gang are from Warlord Games in the JUDGE DREDD - MINIATURES GAME series (predate the re-release and modern Dredd/Stronty/Slaine figures.
I believe they only put out a Rogue/Nort/Souther 3 pack with the J.D. game series (I have them but only undercoated and glued to base, not worth showing pics.

Did ANYONE get the Rogue Trooper Kickstarter that Mongoose did?

Totally passed me by and I recall it was a bit of a gruelling experience for backers (or was that the one for the Manta Prowl Tank and other Justice Dept Vehicles?)

I need to get the second GW Rogue Trooper set if it ever shows up, which is a Nort, Venus and the Traitor General IIRC?

Undercoated most of my GW minis and painted only about a third I'd guess, but also a lot I dont have as well.

I only have a few of the first generation Warlord/Mongoose Dredd sets, but would love to get the rest - my biggest gap - still kick myself that I saw about 5 of the boxes at a games fair, but didnt want to pony up 150 quids in one go!

Have all the Wargames Foundry, which I must get round to undercoating

I expect I've posted this here before, but here's my blog post on the Wargames Foundry collection:
Back Prog Slog: Wargames Foundry 2000AD Miniatures

Also - fairly accurate, fairly up-to-date list of all minis released by all companies.  Might be missing a few of the more recent Warlord ones.

OMFG this wonderful thread. And nowadays, as a divorced dad-about-town, I have an entire house full of geeky tat, including a comic book room. Maybe I'll do some shares soon!

And, honestly, I will add mine. I just need to find an image-hosting solution that isn't blocked by my work laptop. Then the basement of thrills, the Fortress of Zarjazity, will be revealed. :)

I need to buy less stuff... but here's a quick tour of my comic book room. I'm constantly sorting and refiling things, and I have a plan to make it far more organized this winter. Some of these boxes are empty, ready for a reorg. Click on the pics to embiggenate.

It's based on a loose system of: publisher > alphabetical by title > sequential by issue number. But there's a lot of piling things up for later. I'll get to it.

Starting with the British comics corner, mostly 2000 AD. That original art is going on my bedroom wall, after I finally find time to paint it.

Moving widdershins, we see the shelves for general graphic novels and start to see the DC boxes, which is the bulk of the collection.

Those DC boxes, with graphic novels vaguely alphabetical along the shelves. The boxes on the left belong to my kids and include some very well-loved books.

And the Marvel corner. I should get more boxes for these guys. I'm not that into Marvel.

So that's a quick tour. The wall you don't see is a fitted wardrobe full of the empty boxes for collectables on display in the main house. I have more bookshelves upstairs too, of course, including some specially-designed shelves (in lovely local walnut) that bear most of the contemporary, non-superhero stuff - it's mainly Canadian "literary" graphic novels, as the bookstore calls them. For the last several years I've written a regular GN reviews column for the Toronto Star, so I get a lot of books in the mail.

And there is also the office... Perhaps I'll share that bookshelf here one day.  :)

Cheers

Oh man that is super sexy. I love that. Reminds me I need to update my Self Absorbed Nerd room thread at some point. Just too many boxes of comics for sale on the floor at the moment.

I love to hear about a ordering system. Are you strict in your publisher / title / issue # system? it how I used to do it but now its all a bit more thematic.

Also nice to see even in Marvel corner Metamorpho keeps guard to keep those pesky Marvel titles in check.

MORE PLEASE.

Trooper McFad

That's a lot of comics- wish I had a whole room - I've only got a corner which is filling up rapidly with my tat. Having gone digital I don't need to store many comics/books
