So about two weeks ago I was laid off from my job of almost 10 years. I had to use my retirement fund to payoff bills to lighten my financial load. My wonderful wife seeing I've been depressed and discouraged about the whole thing took to eBay. She ordered me a Dredd helmet (not planet replicas) and a badge (from PR).

I thought I had the job of my dreams (and it only lasted 4 days before it all went wrong) and my wife bought me the Stallone VHS in Widescreen and I still thank her to this day. So...

1) Women are amazing
2) Depression is a very real and personal thing
3) As long as someone cares about you that much, everything else is pish even if it doesn't feel like it at the time, and I know it doesn't right now.
