Top o' the mornin to ya, I'm sittin here at work (while the rest of Ireland gets slowly pissed on Green Guinness) but am soon to be hittin the pub right soon, to be sure, to sample the delightful black/green stuff fer meself, in the company of a young lass.

Right so.

Enjoy!

I'm just off down to have a pint in the local O'neils (everywhere has a local O'neils) in the company of the office monkey (Hi Mike if your reading this).

Cheers,

Wod.

I barely celebrate (or sometimes notice) our own patron saints day, never mind someone elses.

DDT did a job on me

Exactly.  St Pat's day over here is just a marketing device by Guinness.  It's not even St Patrick's Day anymore - no, it's St Patrick's Weekend, getting more people to buy Guinness over the whole weekend rather then just the Monday.

So happy Pat's Day to all you who are actually Irish, & I'll see the rest of you in the pub on St George's Day for a pint o' Pride.
Better set your phaser to stun.

Unfortunately I'm at work, but I reckon I've had enough Guiness over the last few days to make up for it :x)

NEGOTIATION'S OVER!

Yeah, very few festivals that havn't been commandeered by the forces of commercialism, I kind of like the fact that the English aren't too bothered, they'd only try and con us into buying pint glasses with pictures of dead dragons on them filled with carling lager (ach!).

Must ring up my mate Ian to wish him a happy St Patricks day... oh, hang on, better not.

For those people who have a problem finding excuses to get drunk, I suggest doing what I did, and become and alchoholic.  Now no time or situation is innapropriate.  It's fab.

To those who celebrate St Patrick's day, have a good one.

The best Guiness in london is served at the Toucan, just off of Soho Square. If I celebrate anywhere i shall be celebrating there.

Buddy

It is my experience that the Guiness in London is generally pishwater. Every time I go to London I always 'give it a go' and instantly regret it when take the first drink.

When in London (or for that matter when not in Ireland) I suggest going for the draught cans for a smooth cool refreshing taste.

Are you in the Holland national football team?

Ooooh! an excuse to drink even more Guinness, not that I need one though. I'm off to a St. Paddy's party later, so if I post a load of bollocks when I get back, you probably won't even notice the difference.

Gary, remeber how much trouble that orange shirt gets you into!!!!  Shall we say chair wrestling......
