Why was Fred (who's Fred btw? A shape shifter odviously) calling The Spider, Mr. Chinard? I didn't think The Spider had a 'real' name.

Who's "Zip" Nolan again? It seems like he has history.

Zip Nolan was the star of "Spot the Clue" in Lion in the 1960s and 70s.  It was usually a 2-page feature, and Nolan, who was a policeman, would pick up on some incredibly miniscule detail, usually provided in the artwork in a pretty darn obscure manner, to deduce that someone was up to no good.

There's someone with a strikingly similar name in Jack Staff, by the way - D.I. Maveryk's partner.
