for future reference, getting stuff printed in southern Ireland is loads cheaper, due to tax & whatnot. i was using a nice company over there for my stuff.

Wheras I worked out my print quote, as my spreadsheets are better than the pencil and paper being used for the last issues.

Bad news though Mike.

Eh? A lot of printing - including 2000 AD and all small-press stuff - is zero-rated for VAT, so I can't imagine that would make much difference.

I'd quote you - but we only do litho full-colour so wouldn't be competitive for B&W -sgh-

Bloody hell Mike...get the website changed quick then regarding the price.  Is there any chance of getting my copy in the post before Friday, as I'm one of the poor buggers who can't make it to Bristol???

Who is that chap on the cover BTW?  Reminds me of a scary bloke I met at Brighton...same sandwich board and all.

longmanshort

No chance of sending 'em out, mate - don't pick the boxes up till Friday on the way down to the con.

In the process of changing the website ...

House of Usher

Reading from the cover text there, I have to ask:

- what are N.E.O.s?
STRIKE !!!

longmanshort

I'm tempted to say "Buy the mag and find out" ...

But I won't - they're Near-Earth Objects. ;)

Near Earth Objects. ie comets and Asteroids. There's a very interesting interview about it in the magazine.

House of Usher

Ah, I see. And anything to do with Lembit Opik?
STRIKE !!!

WoD

Never mind Mike...when you get chance then.
