I got into playstation 2 a bit (my first con sole since the atari 2600) because of things like eyetoy.  The Wii thing sounds pretty good, my problem with games has always been the  controls on most consoles which are too complex for this monkey.

Personally, in terms of advertising I reckon the Wii's going to make a big splash and this Christmas you'll be seeing Wii all over the place. It'll get everywhere.

I'm particularly looking forward to playing Wii Sports.

I've ordered a Wii ... somehow I've ended up partially paying for my own christmas present, but I don't care. Wii here I come. Plus, it's mine so if my wife is playing some silly girly game with ponies in it I can grab the wiimote and start killing things!
