Well, my folks were tracing our family history and found out our ancestors were from Spain and called Belasco (means 'Raven' in Spanish apparently), so I thought it sounded cool... 'cause it reminded me of the evil sorceror in the X-Men! So, a bit of both!  

I'd never heard of the playwright or the German band either!
