228 holds bitter memories for me - I went on holiday that week, and the BASTARD NEWSAGENT decided not to keep back my reserved copy just because I didnt go in and pick it up!!  It was years before I found out what happened at the end of Death Lives!

So I'd probably nominate a later prog 232, cos you get Ace Trucking as well as Rogue, Dredd, Nemesis and Stront

Prog 196.  A broken space-suit disaster cover, and some other stuff "Return To Armageddon"? all I remember is a one-armed robot called Seeker and a melty-looky dude with a five-second time belt called Adam and his demonic twin.  Shortly after that the Block Wars and Rogue Trooper kicked in.
