Ghastly McNasty

Decent enough episode. End seemed a bit sudden.
Who is coming out the bushes?
Re: the spoiler:
Chances are it is either Beth or Morgan - next episode is centred on Beth and what happened to her, and Morgan has to appear again at some point.
Peas sell. But who's Brian?

Ghastly McNasty

Didn't see. I couldn't get the bin-noc-u-lars out in time.  :D

COMMANDO FORCES

Well, that was a creepy episode all about Beth and her new 'friends'. As per the norm, the ending gives us another twist in the story :o

Proteus4

Loved that episode with Beth in the hospital. I was literally coiled like a spring for the whole thing. They really do sustained dread very well on that show.

My opinion is not to be trusted: I think Last Action Hero is AWESOME. And What Women Want.

ThryllSeekyr

I've not seen much of the last four (First Four!) episodes of this.

I have seen bits n pieces.....

Especially of the last one. Which I saw more of yesterday.
Beth wakes up in that hospital with the creepy law enforcement people and medical staff have her cornered and then Carol turns up barely conscious on stretcher towards the end.
It should be time her television character catches up with her comic book counterpart and Tyreese as well. Even though, they are both popular.
I think it was from the episode before that one, that the cannibals eating the dark fellow and they must have been feasting on his lower right leg.

This was exactly what happened too Dale (In the original Graphic Novel Version!) when they both later reveal to their captors they had been bitten by walkers. As Dale was never ambushed by a stray walker after focusing on the disembowled cow on Hersal's property in one of early seasons.

Yes, he died too early in show, unlike his original counterpart who's fate I'm can't quite remember. Yet, I guess he was rescued from the cannibals by Rick and co  and died while he was left resting on a bed.

Yes, him and blonde girl (Who survived her television counter part and never had a affair with the Gov and he never bound her up in chair in small room with Milton. Who bit her before she was found by the other survivors and still shot herself before she was completely turned.) and her younger sister were both doing Dale at the same time. Like he was some aging porn star. Yet, I think it was because he offered them protection in the form of his experience and the comforts of his RV. While his television counterpart appeared to have missed out on this most favourable gig completely. I only wonder if the actor was kind disappointed or both females actresses relieved. Assuming that's how they really felt about it all. Who's know what went on behind the scenes. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

While Carol was a much younger sex pot who finally offered herself to Hershel's eldest son (Who had a sex crush on her at the time!) and then while suffering from a brief bout of insanity as she walks up to the walker they have tethered up in one of the prison yards for study and lets it bite her as well before the other find out and decide to put her down for good. With apologies to the actress as I don't believe she comes across that way at all in the show.

While the eldest (I think his name is Billy!) son gets shot by one of the Gov's retinue of soldiers before Hershel begs them to kill him as well. Which happens!

Meanwhile, Maggie escapes with Glen (Who, I have now read (I read this in a official
magazine about the show!) gets killed much later in the story!) and survives as she does in the show, but not in quite the same fashion and there was never younger sibling like Beth at all.

There were twin girls, both of them have short dark hair. One of them with pig tails meet their end at the hands of the serial killer. One of the four prisoners already inhabiting the prison who I think gets shot by the blonde lady (I still can't recall her name!) who turns out to be brilliant markswoman. Who was never given firearms training like she was by Shane while they were still on the farms. BTW those twin girls were horribly decapitated by the serial killer. Hershal discovers their remains in one of the prison bathrooms. I was shocked and almost stopped reading then and there!

There were also twin boys who belonged to couple who were both eventually killed by walkers and never make appearance in the show along with their progeny. Anyway, it turns out that later on while they are camped out in tents between important locations (I know not where in the show!). One of them uses his knife to dismember his other sibling while he is later found out to have done this, but is not immediately punished for his actions. Because of his youth and while this being argued between the elders. The boy killer is later knocked off by Carl when he sneaks into his tent while he is sleeping and shoots him with his silenced hand weapon. Yep, children are not dangerous at all  ::) Another reason to stop reading and not why I actually had done so!
BTW..... Maggie is kind of hot, but I was turned off by the deepness of her voice when she went crook at Glen while they were holed up in the prison.

The spitting image of Cordelia Chase from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.

I might even mention she looks like a better version and will add I was never a big on admiring Cordelia. Not when I camper her to female lead of the original show. I still have a preference for Beth though.

Anyway sorry to stray as far I did off topic, but it did feel right while writing it so.

So, could somebody give me a more detailed recap of the most recent instalments of this current season?

'..the dark fellow...'

:D  I think it's probably ok to say 'black', Thryllseekyr.

ThryllSeekyr
I didn't realise until just after I posred my last rant about the scene of the boy twins killing his other twin in psychotic flight of frenzy was mirrored by female older female sibling who killed her young sister over something to do with the in appropiate naming of her dolly and way Carol executed the mini-murderess -Look at the Flowers-....
Still creepy how that was all done!

Normally, children get off for that on some techicality in the normal real world most of the time!

BTW When some see's Daryl (or Deryl!) emerge slowly from the bush's and asked bout the where about's of Carol.

What was that about?

What this show has highlighted, and the comic as well to great effect, is that when the chips are down, people really do turn into proper nut jobs.

Forget the zombies, it's the humans which fucking scare me.

Sorry, I should probably rephrase that to 'some' as opposed to the majority. But sometimes, it can take one person or a group of people to try and take advantage of the status quo. I'm sure there are plenty of cases throughout history of this being the case, and also in films. Not only in The Walking Dead series but The Mist, with Marcia Gay Harden's character who tries to take advantage of people's fears and use it to attack others.

That's an excellent essay by the way!

Yep, I think it's called politics.

It is a good essay, though, isn't it?  i found it through cracked.com, the source of pretty much every single thing I know.
