I was a fan of all the series, except Enterprise...it was crap.

and yes im the one whom admits to being a trekkie,
i come from a long line of them. my father, and now my son, all trekkies

Original Series - the best of the bunch.  
- "We come in peace ... shoot to kill."  
- "Why you green-blooded monster!"  
- "Fascinating."

The Next Generation - started badly with the premise that saucer separation was some kind of techno-pron that should be drawn out for 20 minutes and accompanied with [music of awe].  Dianna Troi was also crap.  
- "They're firing lasers at us!  Counseller, what are they feeling?"
- "I sense great anger!  They mean to do us harm!"

But then it recovered with much Q-ness, Borgness (even though they were silly) and such.  Classic  closing episodes.

DS9 - boring as all shite till they started a big fuck-off war with lots of aliens.  Then it finished on a high note.

Voyager - eventually fantastic, apart from Neelix (what a cunt) and the Klingon (boring as mustard).

Enterprise - complete and utter drivel from start to finish - not even helped by alien nazis from across time.  Firefly was superior in every single way, except that nobody had Geoff Logganberrys pedigree to keep it afloat for very long.

Yeah ... the back half of DS9 is  my favourite of the new Trek series, by quite a long way.

But ... despite having a massively larger budget, they still don't hold a candle to Series 3 and 4 of Babylon 5, which has some fucking fantastic space battles (although I think my favourite is still the Earth cruisers engaging when B5 declares independence).

Put me down in the column marked 'Big Love for Firefly', too.
