Ok, apologies if the swear word was not acceptable - I didn't realise. I assume my question can still be asked though?

Pat is the granddaddy of 2000ad, there would be no prog without him. However, his stories lately have been severely lacking in coherence and storytelling.

I'm not the only one that feels this way. So the question is - Would the prog be better without his input?

I'm not sure why the mods locked this. I thought it was a reasonable question going by the criticisms on the prog page!!!!! Please explain, or has mega city law filtered onto these message boards?

I know I'm not the only one here who thinks that over the few years Pat had been treading water compared to his glory days!

When I was a kid I used to look forward to his strips as they were fresh and coherent. I loved the guy!!!! I even remember getting a pre published copy of Diceman because I went to school with his nephew and was passed some copies on.

I just can't help but feel that Pat is up his own arse now and the prog would be better without his input.
