Why Toby really is Dredd. And why Clint Eastwood is wrong.

The thing I love about Toby's Dredd is it isn't an absolute copy of Eastwood. Dredd shouldn't sound like Dirty Harry. He should sound tougher, meaner. When Dredd says I am the law, you have to believe it.

Besides if Dredd did sound exactly like Harry, non Dredd fans would say this Dredd guy just sounds like Dirty Harry!

Kind of dumb huh? Not to mention unoriginal.

Dredd is NOT Dirty Harry. Based upon but not Dirty Harry. Important distinction.

I think some people forget that.

Anyone who thinks Toby isn't Dredd, should listen to  the scene where he attacks Potter. If you don't think that sounds like Dredd, well with respect, you haven't
any clue who Dredd is.

Dredd is the meanest son of a bitch to ever stalk the earth. Toby brings him to life.
