i always liked his style. before i started collecting 2000AD i was bought up on the anuals, which always had great chunks of the star dredds. McMahon and Smith were always the best, bolland always seemed too over worked in my youthfull eyes, though he did better stuff for warrior, (Zirk, anyone?)

the most epic storys at the moment seem to be Slain, Dante, and Cabalistics inc, simply because they dont have all their episodes together dosent make them any less epic.

Dante? at an end of his story? nonsense! Arcady now has a crest for funts sake!!! and not just any old crest, its the one the other crests cant affect. and he hates dante. and so does lulu. and so does konstantine. and when lulu finds out konstantine was the tratior, shes going to hate him too. and probably so will arcady. mmm, lots of crest v crest action coming up before you even throw in the rest of the cast and world.

oh, and i still hold my belief in the second coming of victor

"Isn't VC's a bit like Warhammer 20,000? From what I have see of the GW property anyway."

games workshop were never that origional whae it came to bog standard humans anyway, and some of their inspiration was always very familiar... i wonder why they dont sell imperial judges anymore...

and i would like to say that the books of invasion have done for slain everything that needed to be done. secret commonwealth was spoilt by changing art style, (despite same artist) and slain and niamh having annoying conversations about nuns every time things should have got more interesting. now the art is amazing, and before niamh died the more suttle writting made me actually start to like her again. definately a 2000AD clasic death scene.Odacon has in the past few episodes shown that he combines balors ass kickingness with molochs perversity. together the three have been classic vilians. will we be seeing any more of that really big one who rode many people?

Victor Romanov, a great death as I didn't believe he really had died till that great 'aftermath of war' page, with one of the pictures being him in the middle of a two headed eagle splat mark.

Hell, i still don't believe hes dead!

With Swords Drawn Held High
Our Whips And Armor Shine

Hail To Thee Our Infantry
Still Brave Beyond The Grave
All Sworn The Eternal Vow
The Time To Strike Is Now

Gone Are The Days When Freedom Shone
Now Blood And Steel Meet Bone
In The Light Of The Battle's Wake
The Sands Of Time Will Shake
How Proud Our Soldiers Stand

Over The Top Of Their Vanquished Pride

Victory Victory

To The Battle We Ride
We Crossed A Starlit Sky
No Space No Time
We'll Catch The Wind
Strange Losses Men Died
We Crossed A Starlit Sky
And Still No Space And Time
We'll Catch The Wind

I don't quite know if it fits into the right era, but I think Trap Door deserves a mention.

ThryllSeekyr, when I first heard of this guy doing A Level Archaeology I assumed Mr Mills may have picked up the name while doing some of his legendary research:
