One for work, one personal, one to sign up for websites that insist you register before using (so you can keep all the spam in one place), one assigned by your ISP, my Google phone insisted I have a GMail address to associate with it, XBox live and MSDN both insist you have a hotmail (sorry, Windows Live) account. And so on.

Egad! That's an eye-opener. I only have two e-mail addresses, and one of those I check so rarely (every six months or so) I often forget it exists. So to all practical intents and purposes, I only have one.

I've always prefered the term Nerd to Geek but I learnt (in contradiction to the lovely Venn diagram) that the distinction lay in what you obsessed about. So a nerd was techie stuff and a geek was creative stuff. This of course misses out the massive overlap there in...
