This is a description from the area I come from and live and it isn't far wrong.
Does your area have an urban description? If so get it up here.

Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

Ireland, but not Dublin: A culchie.  Not 2 nights ago, an 80-year-old Irish expat I spoke to, who moved to Australia about 40 years ago, bemoaned the fact that her daughter had married one (expecting to find sympathy from me, who, er, am one.) I have no doubt that Johnny Stress has also been called one many times.

See now, I thought the word 'culchie' came from cul-tighe, a common feature of rural dwellings in Ireland.

Anyway, there's two for me;

and

The footbal team is affectionately referred to as 'The Scum' by everyone not from Ards, which sums it up perfectly. I'm not from Ards, but have fetched up there. I grew up calling it Newton too, fact fans!

To tell the truth, you can all get screwed.

According to that site, I might be either a simple Yorksian or, if you knew me better, this:

It just makes me laugh how they class Eyres Monsell as a village. It is just on huge council estate in the southern suburbs of Leicester.

Emperor

Looks like the local tourist board have been posting here:

Liverpool, Nova Scotia is a different kettle of fish (and I bet they have fish kettles there too):

The Meaning of Liff is better.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

It missed out that Castlebar folk are called 'Fish Heads' by their Westport neighbours for some reason.

You learn something new every day!  I thought Ireland only had Corkonians, Culchies (or rednecks, boggers, muckahs etc), Nordies and Jackeens (or Dubs, which can be divided into Skangers and Yah-heads depending on social class and / or location).

I love urban dictionary.  They get 'bogans' and 'croweaters' right.
