So popped along to this and very glad I did. Really, really nice exhibition. All cliches about seeing the art in the flesh carry and some of it is just jaw dropping. Seeing 'Letter from a Democrat' in the flesh was quite a moment.
More significantly its put together really well. No attempt to justify comics, just explain them to a public that will surely to blown away. The corridor on the way in puts Mr Higgins' work next to works of artists that have influenced him and is really, really nice.
If you are in or around Liverpool seriously get yourself to this.
Oh and was it just coincidence that the name before mine in the visitor book was 'Mary and David'... you're not from L7 (neither postal or band) so I'm guessing so!
