New Nemesis collection has a load of extra stories at the end, from annuals etc. If I remember, I'll put up the details when I get home to check.

According to her character profile, Maria's first appearance was in The Return of Rico - but it was of course during Krong, about 25 progs earlier.

The prog 590 episode of Zenith credits Alan Grant with the script, although this is a likely error. Alan Grant Grant Morrison, you could see how it could happen!

It does seem much more likely that error was made by whoever did the credit card for the printed issue, rather than that episode actually being scripted by Alan Grant.
