I'm thinking Christmas present but I'm still not going to predict which year ::)
I liked the statue to start with but the more I looked at the photos, the more undersized the Lawmaster seemed. I know there's a similar feeling about the 3A Lawmaster.
There have been a few times I've looked at the prog and the artist has drawn the bikes 'normal sized' and it always looks wrong. If I was a prog ninja like you lot I would post some examples.
That said, it could be just the angle of the photos and it looks superb otherwise. (Apart from the left shoulder pad.) I hope everyone who bought one gets immense enjoyment from it.
Glad it's finally on its way, shame with the pound dropping the postage will nearly cost as much as the statue :)
It's been a long time coming, but as long as the finished item lives up to expectations, it should be worth it.

PCS have been in touch.
I have to destroy this broken statue and send the photos to PCS before they can dispatch a replacement. Whilst its good to hear they are happy to help me out I'm really not looking forward to smashing Dredd up !

I can recall an episode of Get Smart where Max had to dismantle Hymie the robot. He couldn't do it, so there's a scene where he's trying to convince the Chief that a pile of disassembled washing machine parts were the remains of Hymie. You should try that, TooN; they'll never know.
I seem to remember Max purchasing a hat on it a jaunty angle too. That may help.

create an elaborate unboxing video. Talk about how excited you are for it and how long you waited, how much it cost and how its a limited edition then drop it by accident

I'm not going to touch it until I get a cast iron assurance they are replacing it. I've asked, how broken does it need to be ? Apparently the COA and even the box needs to be destroyed.

That's a brilliant idea! You'd have to smash it up first and stick the bits in the box so that when it hits the floor and you open it, it's rubble.
Its been a long process back and forth with emails to PCS Customer Support. Time zone problems didnt help with one message a day at best, last wait for a reply was 8 days but with good news.
Replacement statue is ready to ship, it will come with the same issue number as mine and a new certificate of authenticity. All thats left to do is take a hammer to it and send pics to PCS.
If anyone wants to see what a $900 pile of polystone looks like let me know ! I cant avoid it but wont post sad pics unless someone asks.
After the bad luck with PCS I fell on my feet last week when I found a fella from Germany who was selling the F4F Dredd V Death. Surely the best Dredd statue made anywhere to date, I'm chuffed to bits to have found one.
Happy to hear PCs are doing the right thing
