Quote from: Steve Green on 23 May, 2024, 08:52:06 AMHi,

By Gogol do you mean the pin badge? Think the 1:1 was only done as Vlad (I made the 3D model for that, and I don't think it was ever 1:1 except maybe as a prototype)

Just before Planet Replicas shut its website I was fortunate to get a "Gogol" & Luna-1 1:1 but I didn't get a "Joyce" 1:1 at the same time as I thought I'd wait a couple of months and get it then 😫.

I think they were produced on demand but I might be misremembering

Quote from: nxylas on 22 May, 2024, 08:42:56 PMIt would be bitterly ironic if the Tories turned out to be the main beneficiaries of that, becoming the official opposition due to a collapse in the SNP vote.

Well, secondary beneficiaries — Labour is probably going to pick up a shitload of Scottish seats, which will contribute to what is likely to be a thumping majority, but, yes, it's likely to leave the Tories still as the official opposition. Which is kind of a shame, because the SNP becoming the official opposition at Westminster would have been hilarious.

Remember the SNP can only get a Max of 57 seats so that would mean the tories only getting 56 or less which would be hilarious but I think they will still get over 100 probably closer to 150.
In Scotland I hope the tories are wiped out and I think the SNP will scrape 30-35 which is only a loss of 13 if they reach the lower end. I think people not invested in Scottish politics like NI don't realise the arguments are slightly different to the majority of England (I don't know enough to comment on Welsh politics)
I also believe that pundits sometimes forget up to 2015 the SNP had single figure MPs (1974 was a high of 11) and that went up to 56! I can't see them ever going down to single figures again but getting half or just over is still a pretty good result in FPTP.
Overall it's Labours election to lose!

Quote from: Colin YNWA on 22 May, 2024, 04:41:14 PMWow Sunak is really pinning all his hopes on Southgate pulling off a surprise and the nation being on a high he can geg in on ... at least that's the only hope I can see for him (fingers crossed)
That's what I was thinking- probably better odds of riding that wave than hoping the economy will improve dramatically before November- however if it goes tits up and Scotland win well I can only but D-ream 😂😂😂

Quote from: Barrington Boots on 20 May, 2024, 10:00:46 AMI'd hoped to have this framed and done ahead of Lawless but my framing dude has had to have his toe amputated(!!!) - but here's a magnificent Simon Fraser Hershey page with a glorious cityscape, fed up chief judges and my name on a badge to boot. The colour looks great IRL and this will look badass on my wall, eventually.

Great page - are you bringing your wallet to lawless 😂😂

I have to apologise for not listening to this podcast up til now after all the huge plaudits it received from everyone who's listening.

My reason is I'm late (very)to the podcast scene 🙁

Anyway after a 2 weeks binge I'm up to podcast 32 and throughly enjoying it and the inside angle from Simon is great as well as a female's view of such a cad of a character.
As a whisky drinker myself the whisky pairings have been interesting though I haven't been partaking while listening to the podcast.

As everyone who's commented in the years prior to me listening these are great. 👍🏻

I should be all caught up for the live podcast at Lawless where I can watch the magic happen before my eyes 😁.

Definitely! You can tell us all about hobnobbing with the big names

Yeah we can live vicariously through you!
I'm sure there's a NDA that comes with the tickets 😂😂😂😂

If I'm not too star struck and remember the conversations I'll spill the beans 😉

I like these ones as well - that Dredd looks sinister
I posted those mini's a while back on the Of topic a couple or 3 pages in on the "where the dust goes to settle"

Quote from: Trooper McFad on 19 December, 2022, 07:27:10 AMHere's a few of my Stront minis. These are all Metal and I prefer these to the Dredd from Warlord games but i understand that costs may have driven the change.

I've not yet started the Dredd minis (apart from the Xmas decy's) but I'm queued up with my larger projects I don't know when I'll get them started.

I've only posted a few of my favourite ones and i believe the monochrome effect brings out the detail in the figures pretty well.

That's just a sample

That's a great pic Nightbook. I did my Stront mini's in a similar style -monochrome with that splash of colour for the badge.

It's great to see so many boarders able to attend this year's Lawless. I hope to put a lot of faces to the names on here - Barrington Boots & Jim I have faces so can pick them out. Maybe a name badge with our board names on would help 😂😂😂

On the Saturday look out for the mad Scotsman or the guy with blue GI T on and the Sunday I'll risk wearing a RoK of the reds away top (shouldn't really wear a football top at my age 😁)
Is there anyone else going to the bash on the Saturday evening?
