A good read. I like his work especially the diversity in his stories. His first few stories were very similar structured but as he grew into the character or rather the world he added many more nuances to his storytelling. I especially loved his Megatropolis and his One-eyed Jack storyline. For some reason I am not as deeply invested in his Mega-City 2099. One thing for me is still missing on his resume and that is a Dredd mega-epic.

The meg for currently is on a bit of a low. I do see that next issue Dreadnoughts returns, so yes this at least is awesome news. The meg is still very much meh most strips are just average even Devlin. I really liked Kots take on Devlin but the last few stories just felt bland.

The Dredd story I enjoyed and did put a few smiles on my face (I needed something to laugh at since in todays age you are not allowed to challenge your work colleague to a sword duel anymore). This is one of those Dredd stories where as you read you start getting the picture of an innocent question becomes a destructive event with deaths and unnecessary arrests. Dark satire at is best.

The other highlight for me was PJ's art on Devlin. I must say that I felt this was his best work for either the prog or meg. Just brilliant but pity about the script itself.

A very good prog.

Dredd – This is all about survival. Still all-action without knowing anything about Dredd's secret mission. Enjoying the Shako moments really liking the art.

Boogie – This arc was quite different from the first one where we had long spells focusing on the world rather than being too wordy. Some interesting revelations and hopefully the next book is only the end of this arc rather than this interesting world.

Aquila – The first chapter starts of with some great action from Goddard. Great that this is back, and it looks like we will be in for a wild ride.

Prime – I am just looking at the pretty pictures as the words are just flowing off like water on a duck's back.

Vex – Another new character is introduced, and the world building continues. Great art, awesome story just really like this strange alien world.

It would be nice if we could one day get a proper reprint. That might be wishful thinking since I think the Dan Dare Corporation owns the rights (DDC = francize killers)

BATTLE ACTION FORCE TREASURY EDITIONS:

Battle Action Force, was published weekly from October 1983 to November 1986 by IPC Magazines limited, and brought together some of the greatest talents in the British comics industry of that time, both on the editorial and illustrative fronts including names like Gerry Finley-Day, Geoff Campion and Cam Kennedy. Included within its pages were the adventures of "Action Force", created by British toy manufacturer, Palitoy.

Four heroic Action Force teams: infantry specialists Z Force, ocean based Q Force, infiltration specialists the SAS and orbital guardians Space Force protected the world against the evil machinations of Baron Ironblood, The Black Major and their army of brainwashed Red Shadows.

Now, for the first time in over forty years, Total Toy Books, with kind permission from Hasbro and in collaboration with Rebellion Publishing and Skeletron, are proud to announce an officially licensed reprint of the Action Force tales from Battle Action Force collected in a series of deluxe sized 'treasury editions.'

With original issues difficult to find and expensive to purchase in full, this is a collection not to be missed by fans of the original series or for those who only discovered the existence of the comic in more recent times.

More details about this exciting series will be revealed in the coming weeks. Sign up to our mailing list below to be the first to find out more about this forthcoming series.

I can remember reading 52 but I can not remember Final Crisis. Maybe its just me but I find reading Morrison's work mostly painful with over complicating concepts and arcs which becomes difficult to follow and mostly incomprehensible. I never liked anything Morrison did except Zenith. He was always for me very much over rated writer.
