I know that there was a Spainish graphic novel of the  old Strontium Dog "hell" story that was printed a good many years ago, which I thought was unique considering it was not reprinted anywhere else in one volume.

As I remember it a manga was shortly serialised to coincide the films release in Japan and I think it was an all Japanese job. Anime UK reported it 95/96 ish.
