Thought I'd post here about Bryan's new crowdfunded biography Father of the British Graphic Novel

I'm very much enjoying it and the inclusion of certain characters point to them hoping it goes the distance. I also thought it quite otherworldly and dreamy throughout to be honest, like I thought there was sometimes a warp over peoples faces that harks back to the stretched photocopying effect people like Chris Bachalo would use.

What about a Chimpsky or just Ken N book? His recent stories would make a great collection.

Remember back when we did the sketch compos? This special’s theme was basically what I pitched as the next topic before we lost Bolt-1 and it didn’t seem to fit the mood anymore.

I heard about this last night. I was a subscriber to the Batman collection, but at the start of the year the books just stopped. They claimed they were consolidating their customers onto online-only after losing distribution through smiths etc, but they never got going again.

Rey stopped a shuttle leaving in Rise Of Skywalker, so seems acceptable for Vader to be able to do it. But it did look hokey.

Got them too. A great pair! I didn’t read the first part of Returners as I came on with 400, will be good to know how it began.

FB page confirming there will be more Dredd books but can’t confirm titles or release dates. So those last two unknowns could well be Dredd?

Worth noting To The Death is a finite series as well. I've no idea how far they are into it though. I have a handful of the US sized issues but haven't looked to see where the overlap is. At the beginning they were almost running a whole issue at a time but that has dropped down considerably. From what I gather about Adrian though, I bet he would commission the series to continue given the option!
I'm still without my HC yearbook, I know they rejigged it for that version. Would be nice to get it soon though.

Vol 2 Issue 2 is a fab read! I've not gotten into Elephant Men before so I'm very happy to see that here. The team know how to pick their content! The Spacewarp short was better than anything in the original #1, some good ideas, shifter was a fun all-action story and finally we are seeing Killatoa do his thing and stand out from the rest of Furman & Senior's strip. He's got exactly what made DH so appealing but through a different lens & takes cover duty next issue by the looks of it.

Yeah that's what I meant. Looks like the TV pilot was 2013, ten years after the first film. It was described as a 'put pilot' in the article I saw meaning Fox fits the bill if it never airs. Sounds pretty much in line with the Corman FF.

Trevallion is of the best artists working for Tharg right now. Can't get enough of his work!

Learnt from this article they've tried a bunch of times to reboot already. Is this a cynical effort to keep the rights from reverting to Moore & O'Neill?
