I was thrift shopping the other day and while browsing the cds I came across Garry Glitter (not like that ya pervs)
And I was half temped to buy it. Well it was cheap. And I did like that song rock and roll part 2
But then of course there is the whole thing of him being a ya know and all
So yeah. I'm not supporting the artist by buying a cd second hand. But I still didn't feel comfortable getting it. Anyone know what I'm on about?
If you looked harder I'm sure there was a Jim'll'Fix It annual or Paint With Rolf book there you could have had to read while listening to a man who spent his spare time fucking kids. Or you could just accept that the world would be a better place if these scumbags had never existed and throw the lot in the bin.

Indeed - read an interview with her a few years ago where she says she was 16. However there is a video interview she did where she refers to her being under-age. So her own accounts differ.
Eitehr way, there does seem to be a vaguely (or not vaguely) sinsiter double standard as to who gets to be binned - I still hear the Mamas and Papas on the radio for example ...
