This prompted a nostalgic 5 minutes or so when I realised how close it was to South Oxhey.  Ah, the memories of the daily trog from Northwood come rain or shine (and normally late).  Then of course there is that seminal childhood memory: the first viewing of Star Wars in Watford Odeon.

Google satellite view shows that Adhara Road is now completely gone mind.  Looks like someone decided it was a little close to the fence and pulled it down.   :'(

Ah, Watford, my old stomping ground!
Used to walk past the defunct cinema on my way to work!
Much adventure and shenanigans during my tenure there during '94-'99!
Used to work at a branch of MVC there, remember them?!  :o
