Help! / In Search of Tattered Banners 1 - 4 by Mick McMahon & Alan Grant
« on: 13 December, 2022, 06:58:25 PM »
Does anyone have a set of the 4 issues of Tattered Banners by Alan Grant & Mick McMahon? Published by Vertigo in 1998. I'm enjoying looking at the changes in Mick's work. Let me know if I could purchase these!

Got my English replacement copy today of Nemesis book 3. I'm really pleased with the customer service - my postage of the French copy was refunded really quickly. Cheers to Cameron & Tharg.

I’ve just popped my French copy of Nemesis back in the post and 2000ad are refunding my £4.20 recorded cost. They are sending out a new copy. All good.

French versions, stories out of order? It’s true khaos! Nemesis would be proud!

My French copy was direct from 2000ad. Hopefully I’ll get a replacement.

Did anyone else receive the stunning third volume of the Nemesis books today. It couldn't look better but it's all in french! Am I unlucky or is everyone affected?

Mine arrived today. I’m guessing these really were misplaced or preview copies as mine’s un-numbered.

Suggestions / Boo Cook on Tyranny Rex

I've just seen Boo Cook's extended art for the 2000ad Ultimate collection. It's amazing, I know Boo can turn his hand to anything, but look at that Tyranny Rex. Now I know many top tier guys have drawn her - Steve Dillon, Mark Buckingham, Will Simpson, but she's never looked so amazing. Tharg the almighty can we get her back with Boo on art duties? If the world ever needed the return of an art-terrorist, it's now!

Has anyone ever seen a copy of Kingdom book 2 with the right end papers? Hachette have replaced mine 3 times but always with the Slaine end papers. As it was originally from December last year I’m starting to think it’s affected the entire run and they are in no hurry to replace. I’d love to see the series extended just to see the more esoteric stuff, somewhere in the multiverse a complete Tyranny Rex is a best seller!

I’m planning on getting the 4 nemesis books rebound as one omnibus. Leeds based Hollingworth & Moss cost about £27 for a hardcover printed book. They send you sizes and you can send your own artwork. Postage is extra but I’ve been really pleased with previous bindings. Adele who oversees new business is friendly. Highly recommended.

Really impressed by Nemesis the Warlock vol 4. I think it’s all in there - poster prog, Tubular Hells, Deadlock, Forbidden Planet etc. A truly stunning volume. Was Torq’s second honeymoon from Annual 1988 always in b&w?

Tharg, if Grey Area is done can we have Harrison & Abnett back on Durham Red?

There’s a bonus promo card of Judge Hershey on the cover of TableTop Gaming this month. Great art by Dan Cornwell.
