my turn to start a cat-related and way off topic thread. i saw that show on telly today about cats, and was really freaked by the cat with short legs bred to avoid damage to furniture!

Steve Moore future shocks. despite their apparent lack of quality, there are some gems. this is a simple case of prejudice and wannabee-envy (i say this as the most persitent attacks on moore have been by those who claim to be writers of the future).
i draw the parralell to steven king movie adaptions: generally considered to be shite until one lists the few good ones and the list just grows.
best discussed down the pub.
anyway, i liked steves future shocks in general as well as telguuth so let them walk free!

ok. star trek has peeple standing around with blue masks on. this is like EVERYWHERE mainly cos most artists rip off stars trek and wars.
flinty tho, creates these weird robot things with brains inside em and these floating eye creatures which are straight out of my last acid trip.
it's hard to be inventive when it comes to creating decent aliens cos where's yer reference? not the frukkin x-files i tell thee now.
and just WHAT is that pile of mashed potato doing in bad Company?

Hey...i just went to have a butchewrs at the advent calender and it started downloading as one of the unholy "exe"s....
What with using a mac and all, i'm wondering what the calender is and why it has to be constructed of such an unclean substance as an "exe". we can't open em y'see.

also today i read in comics international that dark horse are planning to reprint raindogs and glimmer rats as hardcover collections.
this is good because i want the glimmer rats book.
and i can't read the german one.
