Very sorry to hear of your loss Whitbloke. People like MacMillan and St.Catherine's do phenomenal work for those battling against these terrifying diseases. I already donate to them but I'll be thinking of your Mum as well when I do so this year.

Socks.

And a really fast motorbike to scare myself shitless on. Plus the remainder of the unlimited cash. And some chocolate.

7 Psychopaths. Great fun and a brilliant cast. Sam Rockwell chews the scenery in magnificent style and for a man with such a small part (snee hee, titter), Tom Waits is fucking majestic.

Don't get up and leave as soon as the credits roll, there's an extra little bit thirty seconds or so in to them.

I've got that as well Hawkmonger. It's a great collection with some excellent illustrations. It may have been a mistake to read it all in one go though. Haven't quite felt right since. There's this strange buzzing noise like vast cosmic wasps coming from the fridge and some joker keeps writing "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah, nagl fhtagn" on the bathroom mirror with soap.

I think it might be me...

I've just finished "The Nao of Brown" by Glyn Dillon from Self Made Hero. It is, without going in to hugely hyperbolic frothing nerdism, one of the best things I have ever read in any format. Beautiful (incredibly well observed artwork), upsetting, fascinating, cruel, funny, thought provoking, cute, ugly and above all brilliant. It shines.

Ha! That's a corker Whit!

Wow, stunning display of artistic talent this month. So just to redress the balance.....

"End of Watch", very much worth a watch. The two leads, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña, are a brilliant double act. Funny as hell but seriously harsh in places too.

TRIFFIC!!! Good eh? Took me ages to think of that.

Best prog in living memory. Far too many points of excellence to go into them all but my favourite line?
BIG BARRY PENGE! BIG BARRY PENGE!
I got this yesterday and I think they've extended the offer for the whole weekend.

It's a seriously impressive drawing package and for £23.02 including the VAT it's ridiculously good value.

I've just got to work out how to tell my tablet that I only want it to work on the one screen so I can use more than half of it on the drawing space. Ooh, get me, it's like a supervillain's bloody command centre here mate.

Holy fucking shitballs!! That has to be in the top ten of progs OF ALL TIME.

Vast and thunderous plaudits to all the droids responsible for the Dredd stuff and Greenbonce for letting them run with it. Unbelievably good comicry.

Brass Sun continues to please immensely, (and we've got D'israeli on the next book...Weeeeeee. Not that I don't like Ian's work, I just love Dizzy's).

I didn't swear at ABC worriers.

The cover is AWESOME. It instills me with AWE.

Favourite bit? Too many. Frank running on the Moon is magnificent though.
