I told Ian Gibson I bought a page of that story when he started drawing a sketch for me. Gary Wilkinson, stood next to me, looks around and sees Carlos Ezquerra setting out his stuff.
Him "Why? The arts shit"
Me "Well...I...Er..."
Him "I dropped the ball on that one. Verdus was great. The other stuff was okay. That was shit"
Me "I like it"
Him "Hope you didn't pay too much"
Me "About ?30"
Him "Including postage?"
Me "No"
Him "More money than sense"
The sketch is complete. Gary is watching Carlos draw and the queue for him has grown in two minutes to the whole length of the room. I should have queued behid Gary.

At one point Ian told me that he wanted to throw his Day of the Droids artwork in the bin. Luckily I managed to convince him that I could find people who would appreciate it. I think ?30 was what I was charging for title and splash pages.

Yep ?30 was what I bought mine off you for Wake and well worth it. The seller above must have done the same.
But now they're theoretically worth ?161? It's not like it's such a great page. I'm very happy with the 4 I bought, great bits of the storyline.
