It actually says "with his former 2000ad writer".
What did Rennie write that the Bis drew?

Maybe a 'former 2000ad writer' is a fashion accessory?

"former 2000 A.D. writer"

Given the quotation that Logan posted a few weeks back, I'm rather under the impression that computer games are now Mr Rennie's full time occupation and that everything appearing in the prog is essentially inventory ...

I could have that arse-about-face, mind you. Even if I'm haven't, I hope there's at least one more book of Caballistics coming, or that TMO might be able to lure Gordon back on a part time basis ...

Cheers

I suspect five pages here and there in 2000ad isn't paying as much as videogame development on a full-time basis.  Comics are niche, videogames a highly-profitable and mainstream enterprise.  Looks like he's done what most comics people spend their lives avoiding and went out and got a 'proper job'.

I remember that game also.

I have vivid recalections of the advertisement for this game from a old comicbook

I think that Simon Bisley's involvement in the video game market may draw attention to his work at 2000AD.

Hint hint hint hint.....

I won't mention any particular character though.

Though he's either moved on to writing rather than illustrating with regards to the 'Halo' Graphic novel or he's been miss credited as a writer.

Not saying that he can't write. As I'm pretty sure that the talent rubs off on the artist after being in this line of work for quite some time.

I thought Da Biz might have written the short that appeared in Toxic! #1, but it turns out that was Alan Grant.

Could somebody point me in the direction of (or recreate) Logan's Grennie news as I missed it first time around?

Cheers!

To the best of my knowledge, that's about right. I don't think he's shut the door - he's just getting plenty of work from one source and not pursuing the other as actively as in past years.
