Hi everybody,
I'm new here so I want to introduce myself by showing you some of my paintings.
Cheers!

Excellent stuff. You might want to try Heavy Metal Magazine in the USA as I think it's closer to your style and subject matter.

It's all right, that's in every contract.
That's what they call a sanity clause.
You can't fool me, there ain't no sanity clause.

I'm pretty sure you posted some of these to Gutterzombie a few months ago*. Like the guys over there said: the standard of the painting is very impressive, but as soon as you move away from photo reference, particularly noticeable on the faces of the Thor, Wolverine and Daredevil pieces, the limitations of your skill at this stage start to become apparent quite quickly.

If you're looking for front cover, album cover, novel cover, poster work, then you've got a strong portfolio. Comic work needs storytelling, and there's none of that here, so it's impossible to comment.

Cheers

Jim

*If that wasn't you, then you need to be aware that photos you're using for reference seem to be quite commonly used ...

IAMTHESYSTEM: Thank you! I'll send them something sooner or later... I'm just trying to become better before shipping my material overseas :)

Dunk!: No, no, no, they're not boobies! BIG Boobies ;)

flip-r mk2: Just shaved ;)

Jim_Campbell: Thank you for your constructive message. I know I have to do become better especially in painting without references. I'm completely self taught and I'm trying to do my best to evolve my skills and style so thank you again for your input.
Of course I'm not searching for a job in comic pencilling, what I would like to do in myu life is mainly cover artwork/illustration or character design.
I frequently use stock photos so it's possible that someone else has used the same reference as me as you said, when I can I use my own photoso but sometimes I find reference that are too good to not use them for a painting :)
Anyway thank you again!

Cheers!
