I've just inherited a set of these , quite a cool story line .
Anyone any idea of what there worth if i sell them ?

Whatever you get for them, you have to give half to Grant Morrison.

Worth a decent amount (no longer in print and rights issues held up a reprint a few years ago, so they're bogged down until something gets resolved) - flog them on ebay and post notices here and there and everywhere.
