Art for Hearts 2011 auction

Hi all,
the 2011 "Art for Hearts" auction has now started. This summer's auction is of Doctor Who themed original artwork, signed prints and signed caricatures. All proceeds go to fund research by the transplant team at Great ormond Street Hospital.

A different item will be auctioned each week. To kick-start the auction we have a stunning A3 signed print by concept artist Peter McKinstry.

This week's "Art for Hearts" item is now up for auction.
An original ink and watercolour picture of the tenth Doctor. The picture has been signed by David Tennant. The picture is on watercolour paper and measures 12 x 9 inches.

This week's item is a caricature of Donald Tosh, a script editor during the third William Hartnell year of Doctor Who. The caricature casts him in the role of Mavic Chen a villain from from "The Dalek Master-plan". It has been signed by Donald.

On Monday the 26th of September we'll be auctioning the final items in this year's Doctor Who art auction for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The items include:
- 2 massive A2 prints by Doctor Who concept artist Peter McKinstry. The prints show a cross-section of K-9 and have been signed by Peter and the voice of K-9, john Lesson.

- A page of comic artwork by John Ross. John is the regular comic artist on Doctor Who adventures and that is where this page originally appeared.

- A page of non-Doctor Who themed comic artwork by 2000ad's own Anthony Williams. Anthony has donated a great page from "Marvel Heroes" featuring a great many of the Marvel Heroes.

The auction will start up on Ebay on September 26th. All proceeds will be donated to great Ormond Street Hospital.
