Hi Guys,
New here. I hope this is ok for me to do this but myself and another couple of guys are embarking on a project for 2007 to complete Judge Dredd Costumes from movie.
We have Molds of the Movie used Helmet and Armour and the Pattern for all the cloth work used in the movie and we are extremely excited about the project. our aim is to have a unique Judge Dredd Costuming Club up and running by March 2007.
We also have our own Forum that is very much in its infancy and we are hoping  to move to a better more secure server in the future, we have lots of topic areas available for use, all the forum needs is like minded Dredd Fans to join up, we also need a couple of Forum admin Staff especially with superior knowledge in the 2000ad Comic area (if interested please apply via the forum).

We are very serious about the costuming side of things and we plan to have costume Items available to buy in the new year.

All the best and pop along and join us (please be patient with the rough format)

Why not try your own version of the comic version of the uniform instead of the shitty movie one.

The reason we have gone with the movie Costume is we have spent The last few years making molds based on the Movie Costume.

One of the guys i am doing this project with was actually an Extra/Stunt man in the movie.

I suppose its all down to personal preference I actually do like the movie version of the costume.

Not fully sure i understand your statement, like i said the forum is very new and raw but hey we have to start somewhere............ thanks for your support ; )

Good luck with your project. I already dip in and out of here and 2000adreviews' forum so I have no spare capacity for further boarding.

Well unless I give up porn, and that's not going to happen!

I'm sure we can offer easy terms on a transfer of Byron Virgo if you are interested.

Hee hee Gopher Smith indeed.

Yes ive seen that before and for a fan made costume its very good.

Our Armour will be made of Fibre Glass etc and hopefully Vac metalised (if we can ever find an affordable source).

The Helmet we have is made from Fibre glass also and is movie accurate sized we also have the pattern for the Movie used Cloth work and found the actual source of the material used too.

Have been and checked out your board; nice to see 2000AD getting a little mention in there.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to sign up on account of my parents / guardian being dead and therefore unable to sign the requisite permission slip. Oh well.

That being the case, care to share here how you and your fellow Judge Boarders are finding Origins, undoubted fans of Old Stoney Face that you are?

one of the judges on our forum was an extra/stunt man in the movie so has access to a lot of information plus we have (including myself) some very good prop makers on board too
