[Bat King]

Final part of the introductory arc.

Background:

The Mason's wife was so beautiful he locked her away so others couldn't see her. She was so lonely she prayed for death. Death heard her prayers but instead of sending a Reaper he went for her himself. Death found her so beautiful he took her as his own and they had a daughter. That daughter was named Ginny.

Death offered the Mason a deal. Kill the beast born out of the Blood River and he would free the Mason's Bride. The Mason couldn't slay the beast, a baby girl with mismatching eyes.

Its a Western about the daughter of Death... narrated by a dead rabbit called Bones Bunny.

A very engaging story with an interesting cast. If you missed it the collected edition is out 30th April

Really enjoyed this series and glad I stuck with it. I was a bit lost after the first issue but knew I liked what I was reading anyway 

It will be interesting to see where they go with Vol.2 as this story seemed kind of self contained. I suppose other 'Legends of Ginny' kind of stories could be told around the character. Either way looking forward to issue 6.

Yeah it is a well contained story, you could leave it there and feel like you got a good deal.

But remember what Bones Bunny said... [spoiler]Sissy sent Ginny back to the land of the living...[/spoiler] so yup...
